Donation & Refund Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Thank you for supporting Humanity.Life. This policy explains how donations work, how we use them, and what to do if something goes wrong.

Tax deductibility

Humanity.Life is a non-profit charitable organization approved by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. You’ll receive a receipt by email after your donation — please keep it for your records. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation. We recommend speaking with a tax advisor about your personal situation.

How your donation is used

Donations support our mission: providing food, shelter and other resources to people who are homeless or living in poverty, and helping them rebuild their lives. Unless you tell us otherwise, your gift goes where it is needed most. We publish our financial statements every quarter so you can see how donations are spent.

Payment security

Online donations are processed securely by our payment provider (such as PayPal). Humanity.Life never receives or stores your full card or bank account details.

Refunds

We understand mistakes happen. If you made an error — for example, you entered the wrong amount or donated twice — please contact us within 30 days of your donation at Info@humanity.life or 1.877.2792.523. Please include your name, the date and the amount of the donation. We will review your request and, where appropriate, issue a refund to the original payment method. Refunded donations are no longer tax deductible.

Wire transfers and other ways to give

If you’d prefer to give by wire transfer, or want to discuss a larger gift, please email us and we’ll gladly help.

Your privacy

We treat donor information with care and never sell or trade it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
